Welcome to the Shuddhi Retreat, a 5-day immersive experience at shanti MIZU designed to purify the body, calm the mind, and awaken deeper emotional clarity. This retreat blends ancient yogic practices with mindful living to help you reset, realign, and return home rejuvenated.
What to Expect During the Retreat
No Smoking & Drinking
To support a complete detox of the body and mind, participants are requested to refrain from all forms of smoking and alcohol consumption throughout the retreat.
Fire Ceremony & Bhaav Shuddhi
Begin your inner cleansing with a sacred Havan (Fire Ceremony) and guided Bhaav Shuddhi practices meant to release emotional blockages and cultivate positive intentions.
No Coffee, No Chai
We eliminate stimulants to allow your natural energy levels to balance and reset, supporting deeper rest and mental clarity.
Satvik Food (No Onion, No Garlic)
Enjoy freshly prepared, nourishing Satvik meals that are light, harmonious, and conducive to meditation and healing.
No Phones Till Breakfast & After Dinner
Digital detox helps you disconnect from distractions and reconnect with yourself. Phones may only be used between breakfast and dinner.
Silence Till Breakfast & After Dinner
Morning and evening silence supports introspection, mindfulness, and a calm start and end to each day.
Walk Barefoot More
Experience grounding practices by walking barefoot on natural surfaces to reconnect with the earth’s energy and stabilize your nervous system.
Journaling at the End of the Day
Daily journaling will help you reflect on your experiences, emotions, and insights as you move through the retreat.
4th Day Fasting / Vipassana Retreat
A day dedicated to fasting (optional) and deep silence through guided Vipassana-style meditation to heighten inner awareness.
Shuddhi Kriyas – Jalneti, Vaman & Laghu Shankh Prakshalan (Optional)
Those who wish may participate in traditional yogic cleansing kriyas under guidance to purify the respiratory and digestive systems.
